The biggest international multisport event of the year in Russia.
Sport Producers was chosen as a vendor for sport presentation project at Krasnoyarsk 2019. We managed to create an integrated sport show, as always balancing between broadcasters requirements, FISU and IF’s protocols, venue specifics and regulations. Moreover special attention was on cultural and historical traditions of the country and host city.
With only 23 days left for preparations we were able to create truly festive atmosphere of an international multisport event adding new technologies and ideas to sport presentation in order to promote each sport in Universiade's programm.
For the first, time at multisport event LIVE-connetions between venue’s were organised. Talents, together with the spectators, at different venues were able to share emotions and exchange impressions. It was a unique possibility of a spector to feel the atmosphere of the whole Universiade being present at one venue. Most advanced technologies, well synced procedure allowed spectators at Enisey Stadium (bandy) to give a countdown to face off at Krystal Arena (ice hockey).
For this LIVE-connections Sport Producers designed an autonomous network system (not involving Host Broadcaster) and integrated it to the venues using most advanced software.
One more unique service in Russian sport events – personal commentary at curling using audio-devices. Each spectator was able to listen to a professional commentary (invited curling experts took part). And curling rink was completly quite – as requested by sports regulations. This allowed to turn curling competitions to a memorable show for each spectator and significantly influenced the attendance.It gave an opportunity for those, who didn’t know much about the sport, to get a full understanding of it’s specifics and details. And as a cherry on top - can you imagine “dance cam” integrated to the curling competition?
Sport presentation in Krasnoyarsk 2019 required over 40 tons of equipment. We brought and setted-up 15 control rooms, 7 giant screens and added speaker systems equipment where necessary.
All competitions were commented in Russian and English. Moreover we managed to involve special guests, celebrities and experts in different sports.
Syberia's cultural traditions were reflected in wise selection of performers involving virtuosi accordion musicians, Taymir dancers. And we never forget about sport specifics. Curling traditional bagpipers performances were one of the most memorable moments of the Univesiade.
In 23 days we managed to gather nearly 300 professionals from different countries (Latvia, Belarus, Canada, Great Briatain, USA) in order to provide really high-level execution for Russia’s biggest sport event in the year 2019.
