Ahead of the 2023/24 season, Spartak Moscow played Neftchi Baku in a lively friendly supported by WINLINE. Sport Producers worked with the bookmaker to deliver the broadcast, which aired on WINLINE’s YouTube channel and Azerbaijan’s CBC Sport.
The production met the standards of leading Russian Premier League broadcasts, with specialist equipment and bespoke graphics. Pitchside studio segments before kick-off, at half-time and after the final whistle added depth to the coverage. Presenters Roman Guttsait and Denis Kazansky spoke with comedians Konstantin Pushkin and Aleksandr Maly, as well as hockey players Ansel Galimov and Aleksandr Burmistrov.
The programme also included the customary pre-match interviews with head coaches Adrian Mutu and Guillermo Abascal. After the final whistle, Spartak players Pavel Bazhenov and Pavel Meleshin, along with Neftchi’s Emin Mahmudov, shared their thoughts on the game.
For the first time in a long while, Sector B was packed with Spartak’s most vocal supporters. The game was briefly suspended in the 78th minute after fans set off pyrotechnics.
Sport Producers also handled the in-stadium entertainment, including the stadium announcer and DJ, screen management, and the pre-match protocol.
