On 15 February, VTB Arena hosted the season’s biggest basketball event — the VTB United League All-Star Game. For fans, it was a celebration of standout moments and star-studded line-ups. For Sport Producers, it was an opportunity to make everyone in the stands feel part of a major show.
That evening, Sport Producers were responsible for the live feed on the arena screens and for creating action-cam content. Inside the arena, fans were shown live footage in which branded glasses and headwear appeared on spectators’ faces. These AR graphics were developed by the SP design team using artificial intelligence. Traditional action-cam footage was also displayed on the centre-hung video board.

The signal was produced entirely on Sport Producers' own equipment — long-lens cameras, a director's control room, and a graphics server. Fans in the stands got to see themselves on the big screen in real time. Some waved, others danced right in their seats. What mattered most was that everyone got their moment in the spotlight.
The SP team also ran the T-shirt cannon — a device that launches merch straight into the crowd. Between the match's big moments, fans scrambled to catch gifts and souvenirs, and every "hit" was met with cheers from the stands.
Sport Producers are proud to be part of the All-Star Game, one of the biggest events of the basketball season. There's nothing quite like watching fans light up when they spot themselves on the jumbotron, or seeing athletes and organizers walk away happy with how it all came together. That's what the SP team shows up for.
