Eight clubs from all over the world, nine days, eighteen games. The tournament was held for 8th time and finally got it's permanent residence at Sochi's «Shayba», the arena that once hosted the Olympic games. Educational centre «Sirius», that hosts most talented children from all over Russia welcomed the young athletes and played an integral part in the opening ceremony.
Young musicians created a special track and performed it in a spectacular performance accompanyed by theatrical lights and laser show. General concept – «Hockey as an Art» was meant to combine classical music and modern technical trends, as well as to intergate pianos and violeens with pucks and sticks.
